We have a few people that travel up and down the US eastern seaboard that stay here during the spring, summer even fall months on an extended stay and during the winter they travel back south to their other properties or rentals. If you are interested in our program that we offer them, don't hesitate to connect with us to give you more info about it. They find it very convenient and cost effective.
Getting on the water with a pontoon, jet-ski or a full boat, can be rented locally in walking distance to rentals. Or maybe you want to take it easy on the water by taking a complimentary canoe or kayak out on the creek or bay. Maybe you've got skill with your balance, we have paddle boards as well to enjoy.
The cottage is freshly remodeled and updated annually with a light and airy coastal theme. We paint all the walls and make slight modifications that are needed. Anything worn, we always switch out with new. The exterior of the cottage is cleansed thoroughly from power washing to repaint with fresh new paint where required. Right after every vacationing guest leaves, we meticulously clean every square inch of the cottage, washing linens, curtains, and towels. Not to forget thoroughly washing all utensils, cleaning the fridge, stove and kitchen.
Sand activity may be a preference of yours, a short cab ride or drive away, you can be on a beach that has a gradually sloping bottom that would be great for young ones. There are no big waves either, making it delightful for swimming as well. You can also bring your soccer ball with you to have a match of soccer-volleyball over the provided volleyball nets. To cool down from laying out in the hot sun, there is a stand proving ice cream and drinks just off the beach area.
We are a Pet Friendly location where your best friend can join you and make lasting memories together. We have had many pets ourselves throughout the years and truly understand the importance of having your best buddy with you. Heck they could use a pet-cation too. So you are more than welcome to bring your Cat or Dog with you on your vacation.
Sightseeing and a tour on the Wonderful Peconic Bay is an excellent plan to devote the time out on the water. Most of the time it is quite undisturbed for simple motorboat fun and pleasure.
This awesome experience can be done a couple of ways, employing the services of our local area Captain's motorboat rental, where you can get on right from our pier. The other method, you can certainly Captain your own boat rental, which it is merely a brief walk from our property to the nearby boatyard, to take joy in the day on the bay.
